Overview
Leadership Role in a High-Growth Auction Business
Join Lambrecht Auction, Inc. as we transform the Auction industry by making products available to consumers in an entirely new way. As our General Business Manager, you'll lead the systems utilization and team adaptation that will support our strategic expansion from 102 Auctions this year to wherever our ambitions take us.
You'll work closely with other Division Leaders who manage Inventory Operations, Auctions Operations, and our Tech Team, while directly managing our Support Division which consists of Accounting, Team Building, Asset Management, Special Projects, and IT functions. You'll also work directly with the business owner to facilitate ideas, organize priorities, and drive action on strategic initiatives.
You'll wear many hats as we build the foundation for growth - this is your chance to be at the forefront of transforming an industry and developing a niche approach to delivering value to an entirely new market of consumers.

What You'll Master - Strategic Leadership Responsibilities

Asset Management Leadership - Develop an asset management department, overseeing equipment, machinery, tools, supplies & parts inventory, and properties
Team Leadership & Development - Lead teams in getting brand new concepts off the ground and developing innovative systems and processes. Be a key Leader that identifies and builds other leaders

Your Essential Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Fluency with data analysis and marking data-driven decisions
- Highly experienced in technology adoption and team adaptation
- Very familiar with KPI's and experienced in driving action to support business metrics
- Well versed in Microsoft Excel and advanced charting capabilities
- Knowledgeable in asset management of tools, equipment, supplies & parts inventory, and properties
- Extremely organized and number-driven approach to management
Leadership & Strategy:
- Proven experience leading teams and getting brand new concepts off the ground
- Track record of taking ideas and turning them into reality '
- Comfortable creating systems and processes from scratch, then streamlining them
- Strong accounting understanding and financial management skills
- Experienced in recruiting, training, and retaining staff
Mindset & Approach:
- Open to trying, learning, and implementing new software and technologies
- Well versed in helping teams adapt to new systems and maximize technology utilization
- Comfortable with the fact that most systems don't currently exist- you'll optimize them for team adoption

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days
- Monthly closeouts consistently prepared and reported by the 15th of each month
- Weekly meetings run on schedule with prepared agendas, clear action items, and follow-up reporting
- Standardized hiring process document and implemented, with weekly reporting on candidate pipeline and results
- Preventative maintenance schedules established and actively followed for all equipment, vehicles, and computer systems
- Systematic approach implemented for special projects intake, prioritization, tracking, and completion reporting
