Loading with a forklift is a convenience.  Any damage that occurs because of our staff assisting with loading customers is purely the liability of the customer.  This includes tailgates, bedliners and trailers. Customers who are worried about vehicle damage need to request an item be placed by the vehicle and our staff will help hand load it.  Customer must bring proper vehicle to haul material.  An overwhelming majority of the damage that occurs at load out is because the customer is overloading the vehicle for its capacity, and often occurs during transit. Tailgates are not made to withstand weight being placed on them.   Using a vehicle/trailer shorter than the product is an invitation to incur tailgate damage and is strongly advised against.
